Day 01 Arrival in Colombo and Transfer to Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. You will be greeted by your private driver-guide. Transfer to Negombo and check into your hotel. Take the afternoon to unwind on the beach or with a leisurely Dutch Canal walk, enjoying the fresh ocean breeze and lively local atmosphere. Accommodation will be in Negombo.

Day 02 Knuckles Mountain Range Transfer

Drive to the Knuckles Mountain Range, stopping at the fragrant Matale Spice Gardens to learn about local spices and Ayurvedic traditions. Check into a hillside lodge surrounded by forest, then enjoy a short sunset hike to a nearby viewpoint for a panoramic view of the misty mountains. Overnight stay is in Knuckles.

Day 03 Guided Hike in Knuckles

Full-day trekking in the Knuckles Range, walking through cloud forests, tea trails, waterfalls, and remote villages. Have a picnic lunch amidst nature to get drenched in the serenity of the surroundings. Come across endemic flora and birdlife en route. Overnight in Knuckles.

Day 04: Transfer to Kandy

Drive to Kandy. En-route, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, if interested. Have a Kandy Lake walk and go around the busy local markets. In the evening, you are free to contemplate your experiences of the day. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 05 Scenic Train Ride and Tea Plantation

Take a scenic train journey via Hatton or Nanu Oya, passing by lush tea estates and rolling hills. Transfer to a tea plantation for a guided walk to learn about the tea cultivation process. Taste the freshly brewed Ceylon tea. Stay overnight in Hatton.

Day 06 Adam’s Peak or Kuruwita Viewpoint Trek

Start the pilgrimage season with a pre-dawn climb up Adam’s Peak for an extraordinary sunrise or take a sunrise trek along the Kuruwita route for breathtaking mountain views. Return for breakfast, then rest; enjoy a light afternoon walk along nearby trails. Overnight near Adam’s Peak or in Nallathanniya.

Day 07 Horton Plains National Park Trek

Drive to Horton Plains National Park and trek to the dramatic World’s End viewpoint and Baker’s Falls. Spot highland wildlife such as sambur deer and endemic birds while enjoying the cool mountain air. Overnight stay is in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 08: Drive to Ella and Short Hikes

Travel to Ella and take short hikes to Ravana Falls and Nine Arches Bridge. Spend the afternoon relaxing at a hilltop café or enjoy optional yoga to stretch and rejuvenate. Overnight stay is in Ella.

Day 09 Sunrise Hike to Ella Rock or Little Adam’s Peak

Take an early morning hike to Ella Rock or Little Adam’s Peak. Watch breathtaking mountain vistas and the first sunbeams light up the valleys below. Later in the day, it’s at leisure. Optional excursion or simply take some time out. Overnight in Ella

Day 10: Transfer to Belihuloya and Nature Walks

Transfer, Nature Walks, Drive to Belihuloya, and go on a short waterfall hike and a guided nature walk. Optional river bathing or canoeing offers refreshing moments in the surrounding forest. Farewell dinner of local specialities in the evening. Overnight in Belihuloya eco-lodge

Day 11 Return to Colombo and Departure

Drive back to Colombo or transfer directly to the airport. Optionally, stop for a quick city tour or shopping en route. Depart from Colombo with lasting memories of Sri Lanka’s mountains, forests, and cultural treasures.
